Three Vehicles Totaled in Cherokee County Accident

Three vehicles were totaled and minor injuries occurred in an accident in Cherokee County on Highway 3 near Eagle Street.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, the accident took place shortly before 9am Wednesday. During the investigation, it was found that 45-year-old Kenneth Hach of Alta was west bound on Highway 3. Hach failed to slow his vehicle for upcoming road construction, and struck a vehicle operated by 41-year-old Michelle LaFave of Cherokee. LaFave's vehicle then slid forward and struck a vehicle operated by 20-year-old Aubrey Harkins of Cherokee. Both Harkins and LaFave were stopped for the road construction.
Harkins and LaFave each sustained minor injuries. All three vehicles were considered a total loss.
