Over 40 Vaccinated at Laotian Clinic in Storm Lake

42 individuals received COVID vaccine Sunday afternoon at a Laotian clinic that was held at the East Early Childhood School in Storm Lake.
The clinic targeted a specific group of elderly Laotian community members. John and Pom Kavan were the lead organizers for the event, with assistance from SALUD and Hy-Vee.
A collaborate effort is being conducted over the next few weeks to reach specific ethnic communities in the Storm Lake area to provide them with information and administration of COVID-19 vaccine.
A Latinx Vaccination Clinic will be held this Sunday, April 18th from 1 to 3pm at the Prairie Lakes AEA/ISU Extension Building in Storm Lake. The clinic will be open to the Latinx community.
