Storm Lake Man Jailed for Engaging in Sexual Act With a Minor

A Storm Lake man has been jailed for sexually exploiting a minor.
At approximately 10:45pm Tuesday, the Storm Lake Police Department was dispatched to a residence for a report of a male at the property without permission. Upon arrival, police identified the man as 19-year-old Seare Birhane of Storm Lake.
After further investigation, police allege that Birhane was in possession of a cell phone that contained photographs of himself engaging in a sexual act with a female under the age of 18.
Birhane was taken into custody and charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, a class C felony. Birhane was transported to the Buena Vista County Jail, and booked on a ten-thousand dollar bond.
