Remsen-Saint Mary's beat Newell-Fonda 61-41 Tuesday night in a class 1A district final played at Sioux City.  Blaine Harpenau led four players in double figures with 18 points and the Hawks outscored the Mustangs 30-16 in the 2nd half for their 21st win of the season.  They will now face LeMars Gehlan in a sub-state final this Saturday night at LeMars.

Tanner Gerke scored a team high 14 points for the Mustangs and Carter Sievers added 12.  Newell-Fonda finishes the year with a record of 17-6.
