Clay County Board of Health Votes to Recommend Mask Mandate

The Clay County Board of Health voted Tuesday evening to recommend the Board of Supervisors in that county adopt a mask mandate.
The Board of Health took the action following a public hearing that drew comments from both sides of the issue.
The proposed resolution includes provisions pertaining to religious facilities along with periodic reviews and updates.
The vote to forward the proposed resolution to the Board of Supervisors was unanimous. The matter will be on the agenda for their next meeting.
