Brady Dicks picks up win #1 as South Central Calhoun rolls over Storm Lake

#4 in Class 2A South Central Calhoun Titans rolls past Storm Lake Tornadoes in girls basketball action.

In a game where Coach Dicks and the Titans wanted to push the pace on offense and play stout defense they did just that and won 92-22.

After the Tornadoes scored the first basket of the game to take a 2-0 lead the Titans would answer with the next 14 points to take the lead 14-2. They would never give up the lead following that. The Titans would close out the opening quarter on a 15-4 run to lead 29-6 after one.

The second quarter saw the Titans score the first 13 points of the quarter to go up 42-6. The teams would trade baskets to move the score to 44-9. The Titans would again go on a 7 point run to extend the lead to 51-9. The game would go to the half at 54-12.

The start of the second half saw the teams trade baskets early to move the score to 59-16. The Titans would close out the quarter on a 14-4 run to lead at the end of three 73-20.

The Titans move to 1-0 under new head coach Brady Dicks and the Tornadoes fall to 0-2 under new head coach Nathan Reichter.

The next game for the Titans is 11/30 vs Audubon, and for the Tornadoes is 12/1 vs Sioux City North
