Another Iowa COVID Hospitalizations Rise ; Almost 39-Hundred More Positive Tests

The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations in Iowa is up again, now at 1,527, an increase of 17 from the previous day, according to the state's coronavirus dashboard.
COVID-19 patients in ICU are down by five to 283. There are 134 patients on ventilators, which is up by four.
In the northwest Iowa region, COVID-19 hospitalizations is down by eight to 226.
There were nearly 39-hundred more positive cases confirmed from 10am Tuesday to 10am today (Wed) to bring the Iowa total over 194-thousand.
There have been 44 more cases confirmed in Buena Vista County, putting the county's total at 2,786.
There have been 40 more deaths statewide, bringing the total to 2,064. That includes the 7th COVID death in both Sac and Ida Counties.
There have been over 13-hundred additional recoveries. Over 110-thousand of the Iowa cases have recovered.
