OA-BCIG Football Team Rolls Over West Sioux--Now Dome Bound

Cooper Dejean accounted for 440 yards of total offense and six touchdowns helping OA-BCIG beat West Sioux 63-14 in a class 1A quarter-final round playoff game at Ida Grove Friday night.  The Falcons started quickly scoring 13 points in the first 74 seconds of the game as Dejean threw a 53 yard touchdown pass to Easton Harms and after they recovered the ensuing kickoff at the West Sioux 27 yard line, Dejean ran for another touchdown on the very next play and OA-BCIG never looked back as they won their 23rd straight game.

Dejean ran the ball 12 times for 200 yards and had touchdown runs of 27, 87, and one yard.  He also completed 19 of 26 passes for another 240 yards with three more touchdown passes giving him a total of 48 touchdowns rushing and passing combined in ten games.

Besides the 53 yard touchdown pass to Harms, he connected with Griffin Diersen on a 29 yarder and would later hit Cameron Sharkey on a six yard strike.

Defensively the Falcons intercepted four passes with Easton Harms coming up with two picks.

OA-BCIG led 50-7 at the half and will take their 10-0 record to the Cedar Falls to play Sigourney-Keota in the semi-final round Saturday, November 14th at 1:30pm.  The game will be broadcast on 92.9FM KKIA.
