Greenfield Campaign Tour Paused, Including Storm Lake Stop, Due to Contact Tracing

October 28, 2020 9:21am

Businesswoman and US Senate candidate Theresa Greenfield is temporarily pausing her RV tour, including today's (Wed) events, after learning that some campaign members came into contact last week with someone that tested positive for COVID-19.

Greenfield had been scheduled to make a stop in Storm Lake this (Wed) afternoon.

A statement released by the campaign communications director says that while masks and social distancing measures are required at all of their in-person events, events are being temporarily halted at the advice of medical professionals in order to take appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of Iowans and team members.

The statement goes on to say that Greenfield regularly gets tested for COVID-19, and recently tested negative, but she's getting tested again to be safe, and that she's eager to resume her tour once test results are received, and they're absolutely certain it's safe to get back on the campaign trail.
