COVID-19 Hospitalizations Continue to Climb

Another day, another high mark of COVID-19 hospitalizations in Iowa, with 564 listed on the state's coronavirus website. That up from the 561 listed on Monday.
There are 120 COVID-19 patients in the northwest Iowa region, an increase of eight from Monday. Statewide, 128 of the patients are in ICU, and 46 are on ventilators.
There have been 21 more deaths from 10am Monday to 10am today (Tues) for a total of 1,658.
There are now over 117-thousand COVID-19 cases in Iowa. There have been six more cases in Buena Vista County, bringing the county's total to 2,261. There are 241 active cases in BV County.
76-percent of the cases in Iowa have recovered.
