Nearly 800 Additional COVID-19 Cases in Iowa ; More in Area Counties

There have been 798 more positive COVID-19 cases reported in Iowa from 10am Thursday to 10am Friday, according to the Department of Public Health's coronavirus dashboard.
At 10am today (Fri), the total number of cases in the state stood at 72,754. The recovery rate is still 72-percent.
There are three more deaths, bringing the total to 1,208.
There are nine more positive cases in Buena Vista County, bringing the total to 1,881. There are 80 active cases in BV County.
Clay County is up one case to 247...Cherokee is up one to 154...Calhoun is up two to 144...Pocahontas is up three to 143...Sac is up four to 133...and Ida is up three to 60.
There is one resident from both Buena Vista and Sac Counties that are hospitalized with COVID-19, according to the latest data. Two residents from Calhoun County are hospitalized.
