ISU Extension Holding Farmland Leasing Meetings

ISU Extension and Outreach has 11 farmland leasing meetings scheduled in northwest Iowa during the month of August.
The meeting agendas will include current farmland value and lease rate trends, methods for determining fair rents for 2021, farmland lease communications and legal aspects including strategies for writing and terminating a lease, cover crops, conservation and water quality, farm stress, and ISU Extension web-based and other resources.

Registration is $20 per person or $30 per couple. Pre-register at least two days prior to the meeting. There will be an extra $5 fee for late registrations.
Workshops will be 2 1/2 hours long, with a 100-page leasing arrangement book provided.
