Storm Lake Man Charged With Sexual Abuse and More ; Incidents That Date Back to 2017

A Storm Lake man has been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse, among other charges, that allegedly occurred over the last four years.
The Storm Lake Police Department received a report last Monday, July 20th of alleged sexual abuse of multiple children at a residence in Storm Lake. The Police Department subsequently launched a joint investigation involving the Iowa Department of Human Services and the MercyOne Siouxland Child Advocacy Center.
As a result of the investigation, police allege that from 2017 to this year, a male subject, identified as 41-year-old Pway Htoo of Storm Lake, engaged in multiple acts of sexual abuse against two minor children under the age of 12 at a residence in Storm Lake.
The Storm Lake Police Department arrested Htoo without incident shortly after midnight on Tuesday, July 21st. Htoo was charged with six counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse, a Class B Felony...one count of Incest, a Class D Felony...one count of Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse, an Aggravated Misdemeanor...and two counts of Child Endangerment, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.
Htoo was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and held on a 134-thousand dollar bond.
