Aurelia Police Makes Two Arrests

The Aurelia Police Department arrested two individuals late Monday night on multiple charges.

34-year-Jeremy Yohe and 27-year-old Kendra Yohe, both of Cherokee, were arrested after officers made contact with them in the 100 block of Valor Road. Upon making contact with the Yohe’s, both provided false names to officers.

Upon determining false names were used, it was also determined that Jeremy Yohe had a Barred driving status and that both also had warrants issued for their arrest. They were both taken into custody.

Jeremy Yohe was charged with Controlled Substance Violation, a class B Felony...Failure to Affix Drug Tax Stamp, a class D Felony...and Failure to Appear, Gathering Where Controlled Substance Used, Violation of Probation, and Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Offense, class D Felonies. Jeremy Yohe was additionally charged with Driving While Barred, an aggravated misdemeanor...and Interference with Official Acts, a simple misdemeanor.

Kendra Yohe was charged with Violation of Probation and Gathering Where Controlled Substance Used, class D Felonies.

Jeremy Yohe was booked on a 21-thousand 300 dollar bond, and Kendra Yohe was booked on a 53-hundred dollar bond.

The Aurelia Police Department was assisted by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
