More COVID-19 Cases in BV County ; Statewide Death Total Tops 700

There have been two additional positive COVID-19 cases in Buena Vista County over the last 24 hours, bringing the county's total to 1,678, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.
11 Buena Vista County residents have now died due to COVID-19.
35-percent of the BV County cases have recovered, compared to 62-percent statewide.
In northwest Iowa's RMCC Region Three, 34 individuals are hospitalized with COVID-19, which is down two from yesterday. 12 patients are in ICU, and seven are on ventilators.
There are 493 more positive cases statewide, bringing the Iowa total to 27,555.
There have been seven additional deaths. 701 Iowans have died due to COVID-19.
Over 282-thousand Iowans have been tested, which is one out of 11.
