Three More COVID-19 Cases in BV County ; 461 Additional Cases Statewide

There have been three additional positive COVID-19 cases in Buena Vista County over the last 24 hours, bringing the county's total to 1,676, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.
33-percent of the BV County cases have recovered, compared to 63-percent statewide. There have been 16 positive cases among two BV County nursing homes, including the Good Samaritan Society in Newell, and Pleasant View Home in Albert City.
The Clay County total is up by three cases, now at 113. Cherokee County still has 69 positive cases. Sac County has 50 positive cases...Pocahontas is up one to 42...there are two more positive cases in Calhoun County, as they now have 29...and Ida County is still at 21.
There are currently six Buena Vista County residents that are hospitalized with COVID-19...Calhoun County has two...and Ida and Sac each have one.
In northwest Iowa's RMCC Region Three, 36 individuals are hospitalized with COVID-19, with 12 patients in ICU, and seven are on ventilators.
There are 461 more positive cases statewide, bringing the Iowa total to 27,062.
There are four additional deaths. 694 Iowans have died due to COVID-19.
Over 275-thousand Iowans have been tested, which is one out of 11.
