COVID-19 Latest Numbers

The Iowa coronavirus website shows 17,561 total COVID-19 cases in the state as of late this (Mon) morning.
458 Iowans have died due to COVID-19. The recovery rate in Iowa is 53-percent.
There are now 244 confirmed cases in Buena Vista County. Public Health Administrator Pam Bogue reported 78 cases that were identified this past Saturday alone. There are two that are hospitalized. 35 of the BV County cases have recovered.
In other area counties, there are now 17 cases in Cherokee County, 13 in both Ida and Sac, ten in Clay, four in Pocahontas, and two in Calhoun. Of those six counties, 30 of the cases have recovered.
In northwest Iowa's RMCC Region Three, 105 are hospitalized with COVID-19. 37 are in ICU, and 25 are on ventilators.
Over 132-thousand Iowans have been tested.
