Girls State Golf Results ; Patton State Champ

Alta Aurelia’s Annika Patton is the Class 1A state champion for a second time, as she shot a 70 in the second round, for a two-day total of 148 in the 1A girls state golf tournament Marshalltown.

Patton finished six strokes ahead of the runner-up.  Patton also won a state title two years ago.  She finished as runner-up at state as a freshman, and wound up in 3rd place as a junior.  Patton has signed on to play golf at Northern Iowa.

Alta Aurelia, making their 9th consecutive state trip, finished 4th in the team standings at 757.  Bishop Garrigan won the team title at 727.
