Reckless Driving, Eluding Arrest

A Storm Lake man faces charges after police saw a vehicle going 60 miles an hour in the 600-block of East Fourth Street early Sunday morning.
Police pursued the vehicle which eventually stopped near the intersection of Seventh and Cayuga Street. Police made contact with the driver, 22-year-old Angel Luis Nieves Rodriguez,of Storm Lake, and took him into custody.
Rodriguez was charged with eluding, a serious misdemeanor… and reckless driving, a simple misdemeanor. He was jailed on a one-thousand dollar bond.
