Criminal Mischief, Harassment Arrest

A Storm Lake man has been arrested in connection with vandalism to a vehicle parked at the Tyson plant on November sixth.
Police were told a pickup had been damaged and the victim believed the suspect was 49-year-old Jose Santellan-Ramirez of Storm Lake. The reporting party advised the damage was in connection with a domestic-related dispute. The damage was estimated at 12-hundred dollars.
Police reviewed security video and allegedly identified Santellan-Ramirez as the suspect in the incident. Wednesday he was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a class “D” felony… and third-degree harassment, a simple misdemeanor. He was jailed on a 53-hundred dollar bond.
