Assault Suspect Turns Himself In

An arrest has been made in connection with an assault reported Sunday night in Storm Lake.
Officer were told a person identified as 56-year-old Guy Johns of Storm Lake allegedly struck the victim several times in the head, causing an injury. The assault occurred in the 700 block of West Ninth Street.
Police issued a warrant charging Johns with assault causing bodily injury, a serious misdemeanor. Wednesday night, Johns surrendered himself at the Storm Lake Police Station, and was jailed on a one-thousand dollar bond.
