More Charges For Johnson, Quail
November 12, 2015
Two men already in the Dickinson County jail on burglary, firearms and drug charges face some additional legal trouble.
Twenty-year-old Travis Johnson and 21-year-old Chayton Quail, both of Spirit Lake, were arrested on the charges after Spirit Lake police executed a search warrant November first at Spirit Lake residence.
Both were additionally charged by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office with second-degree attempted burglary, possession of burglar tools, and criminal mischief. Sheriff’s deputies say the additional charges against Johnson and Quail were filed after items that were recovered in the search matched the description of those reported stolen from the Graettinger-Terril school.
Johnson was being held on an 80-thousand dollar bond, while bond for Quail was set at 75-thousand. Authorities say their investigation continues and additional arrests are expected.
