November 10, 2015

Iowa Lakes Regional Water Utility is one of three entities in Iowa to receive federal money to help pay for upgrades to water and sewer systems.

The Spencer-based system will receive a one-point-three million dollar loan and a 954-thousand dollar grant. The funds are from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The grants are designed to help rural communities upgrade their infrastructure for water and wastewater.
