Wright's four touchdown passes lead S-B-L past Storm Lake

Daniel Wright threw three of his four touchdown passes in the first half leading Sergeant Bluff-Luton to a 41-8 win over Storm Lake Friday night at Sergeant Bluff.

Wright finished the game completing 15-of-21 passes for 228 yards and the Warriors built a 17-0 lead after the first quarter and cruised to their eighth win of the year.  

Storm Lake's lone touchdown came on a seven yard touchdown run by Colton Dreith early in the 4th quarter.  David Soto would then pass to Ben Raveling for the two point conversion for the Tornadoes only points of the game.

S-B-L had 309 yards of offense compared to Storm Lake's 144.

The Tornadoes finish the year 5-4 overall and 2-3 in the district.

S-B-L is now 8-1 and will play next Friday in the opening round of the 3A playoffs.
