East Sac Wins at Ridge View

Quintin Ludwig rushed for three touchdowns, and East Sac County had 356 yards of offense in their 35-8 win over Ridge View in Holstein.  

Josh Wernimont recovered a fumble in the end zone for the opening touchdown of the game late in the 1st quarter.  Ludwig's first touchdown, a seven-yard run with 36 seconds to go in the 1st half, put the Raiders up 14-0 at the break.  

East Sac recovered an onside kick to start the 3rd quarter, and went on a 47-yard touchdown drive, as an eight-yard run by Ludwig made it 21-0.  Midway in the 3rd quarter, after Brecken Conover recovered a fumble at the East Sac six-yard line, two plays later, Dylan Wood rushed for a three-yard touchdown, and then a two-point conversion to make it 21-8.  The Raiders got the final two touchdowns on a five-yard run by Ludwig, and a one-yard run by Jake Paysen.  

Ludwig and Paysen combined for 147 rushing yards.  Tyler Schmitt passed for 153.  

East Sac (1-2) plays at IKM Manning next week.  

Ridge View (0-3) visits Lawton Bronson next Friday.
