Workshops Offered to Help Local Businesses and Attractions Market Themselves to Visitors

A free workshop is being offered to help local businesses and attractions make the most of Storm Lake’s tourism appeal.

The workshops will be held on Thursday, February 27th at King’s Pointe Resort. Two sessions are available at 7:30am and 11:30am. The workshops are free to participants. A tourism liaison with the Iowa Tourism Office will share information on how businesses, attractions, organizations, and events in the Storm Lake area can utilize the state’s free marketing opportunities and tools to promote themselves to potential visitors.

Those who would like to attend should RSVP to Storm Lake United. Call 732-3780.

The workshops are thanks to the team effort of the City of Storm Lake, Storm Lake United, and the state’s Travel Iowa program. The Iowa Tourism Office works collaboratively with communities and partners to lead and unify efforts to increase tourism, enhance economic impact, and promote Iowa to travelers.
