A wanted Alta man was arrested after Storm Lake Police responded to a report of an individual using inhalants in a public restroom at the local Walmart.
Officers arrived at the scene shortly after 3pm Wednesday and located 27-year-old Alfredo Inzunza actively using inhalants in a bathroom stall. Inzunza was arrested for Trespassing 2nd Offense, and was taken into custody without incident. Officers further determined that there was a valid Buena Vista County felony warrant for Violation of Probation regarding an original charge of Operating a Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent. An ambulance was called to the scene to examine Inzuna because he had been using inhalants, and was in a state of semi-consciousness.
Inzunza was cleared to be transported to the Buena Vista County Jail, and was booked on a two-thousand dollar bond. The Storm Lake Police Department was assisted at the scene by Walmart management and Buena Vista Regional Medical Center paramedics.
