The Lake View Police Department says they have now identified the suspect involved in an assault over the weekend.
The incident reportedly occurred shortly after 7pm Saturday at a Lake View business. The suspect was described as a middle-aged white male with a white scruffy beard and false or fake teeth. The suspect wore a black or dark-colored jacket, blue jeans, and a black Hawkeye stocking hat. He was driving a maroon or dark red Chevrolet 1500 truck.
Again, the Lake View Police Department has now identified the suspect, but no further information has been released. Police Chief Chris Jochims says no charges have been filed as of early this (Tues) morning, and the case remains under investigation.
