Two people wanted on warrants for multiple charges were taken into custody earlier this week in Clay County.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Alicia Abrahamson was arrested Monday for Eluding…3rd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance…Unlawful Possession of a Prescription Drug…Possession of Drug Paraphernalia…No Insurance…Fraudulent Use of Registration…Failure to Obey a Stop sign…Failure to Maintain Control…Speeding…Driving Under Suspension… and Reckless Driving. She was booked without bond into the Clay County Jail.
Clay County deputies also took 48-year-old Norman Escalera into custody on Monday in a separate case. He was wanted on active warrants for Failure to Appear on an original charge of 3rd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine. Bond was set at $5,000 cash only. Authorities say Escalera was also wanted on a Plymouth County warrant charging him with 3rd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance…and Driving While Barred. Bond was set at ten thousand dollars.
