Two More Arrested in Connection to Alleged Assault Incident Outside Nightclub in Storm Lake

Two more arrests have been made in connection to an alleged assault incident outside of a Storm Lake nightclub last weekend.

A previous report from the Storm Lake Police Department indicated the incident happened in the early morning hours this past Sunday. Two victims claimed they were assaulted by four or more suspects as they exited a nightclub in the 500 block of Erie Street. The victims alleged they were struck several times which caused bodily injuries to their faces. 19-year-old Leodan Rojas was previously arrested in connection to the incident.

On Wednesday evening, Storm Lake Police located another suspect in the case at 401 Cayuga Street. The suspect is identified as 22-year-old Juan Moral Urena of Storm Lake. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with Rioting, a class D felony…and Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a serious misdemeanor. Moral Urena was transported to the Buena Vista County Jail and booked on a six thousand dollar bond.

Early Thursday morning, a third suspect in the case, 22-year-old Faustino Marte Reyes of Schaller, surrendered himself at the Storm Lake Police Department. Marte Reyes was charged with Rioting, a class D felony…and Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a serious misdemeanor. He was booked in the BV County Jail on a two thousand dollar bond.
