Two Arrested in Spencer on Multiple Charges

Two Spencer residents were arrested earlier this week on several charges, many of them drug-related.

According to Spencer Police Chief Mark Warburton, at approximately 3pm on Monday, the department executed a search warrant at 810 East 11th Street. Following the search, 63-year-old Earl Halbur was charged with 3rd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance THC Wax, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Person Ineligible to Carry Weapons, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

32-year-old Dylan Halbur was charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, 3rd Offense Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana, Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, 3rd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Earl Halbur and Dylan Halbur were both taken to the Clay County Jail without incident. Dylan Halbur was booked on a 27 thousand dollar bond, and Earl Halbur is being held without bond.
