Three Truck-Tractors Collide Near Storm Lake Killing Storm Lake Man

A Storm Lake man died as part of a crash that involved three truck-tractor vehicles just southeast of Storm Lake last (Tues) evening.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident happened at around 7:40pm Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 71 and Highway 7/C-65. 63-year-old Humberto Aladro-Valdes of Storm Lake was driving a Mack Truck westbound on Highway 7. 56-year-old Cedric Patterson of Roxie, Mississippi was driving a Freightliner northbound on Highway 71. The 3rd vehicle, a Volvo, was traveling southbound on Highway 71.
