A juvenile from Minnesota has been charged with credit card fraud in Clay County.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the department took a credit card fraud report back on January 11th. The victims lived near Dickens. An investigation by deputies determined that a 17-year-old male from Lakefield, Minnesota gained access to the victim’s credit card and made approximately 65 fraudulent charges totaling over 12 thousand dollars.
The juvenile turned himself into deputies at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office on January 29th. The juvenile was charged with Credit Card Fraud, a class C felony. He was released to the custody of his parents.
