Teen Arrested with Underage Possession of Marijuana

This past Friday evening, May 19th, a Clay County Deputy initiated a traffic stop for a vehicle violation in the 4100 mile of Hwy 71.

The Deputy did notice an alcoholic container inside the vehicle and while talking to occupants, it was found that the passenger in the backseat was in possession of alcohol and tobacco under the legal age of 21.

The passenger was cited and released for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Minor in Possession of Tobacco, both Simple Misdemeanors.

In addition, it was also determined that another passenger, Breydon Kosky, age 18, of Storm Lake, was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Kosky was charged with P.C.S. – Marijuana (a Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a Simple Misdemeanor). Kosky was arrested and transported to the Clay County Jail.
