The City of Storm Lake has lifted its snow emergency declaration for the residential areas of the community.
The current snow emergency continues for the CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT only until this Sunday, January 21st at 6am.
During the remainder of this partial Snow Emergency, parking is not allowed on streets in the Central Business District between 2am and 6am. Parking also isn’t allowed in downtown public parking lots designated as Lot B and Lot D. Overnight parking IS allowed in downtown public parking lots A and C.
Vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed if they are found to be in violation of the City of Storm Lake’s snow policy.
