The Storm Lake School Board this week set an election date regarding the continuation of the district’s Physical Plant and Equipment Levy.
The current levy is set to expire at the end of June in 2026. Public approval of the extension would allow the $1.34 levy to continue for an additional ten years. Superintendent Stacey Cole said the funding currently generates approximately 890 thousand dollars per year…

The board approved the purchase of 136 additional high school lockers for over 50 thousand dollars, which will be paid for through PPEL or the sales tax.
