Two individuals were arrested in Storm Lake on assault charges.
According to the Storm Lake Police Department, officers were called to the residence at 17 hundred West 6th Street at approximately 11:40 last (Sun) night following a report of a belated domestic disturbance. Police met with 42-year-old Omar Ocegueda and 23-year-old Yuleini Ocegueda, both of Storm Lake. Both individuals allegedly had injuries consistent with a physical altercation. They were taken into custody without incident.
Omar Ocegueda was charged with 3rd Offense Domestic Abuse Assault, a class D felony. Yuleini Ocegueda was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a serious misdemeanor. They were booked without bond into the Buena Vista County Jail.
