The Storm Lake RAGBRAI committee introduces an online sign up opportunity for those interested in volunteering during the bike ride’s local overnight stop.

The website provides a variety of available shifts in an effort to allow the community to contribute to the event, while still enjoying planned activities such as music, art, food vendors, entertainment, and more.
More than 300 volunteer positions are available from July 22nd through the 24th for the first overnight stop of RAGBRAI on July 23rd. Opportunities are available in the areas of set-up on July 22nd, greeting riders on July 23rd, working information centers, campgrounds, parking, and more, as well as clean up on July 24th.
The Storm Lake RAGBRAI committee will distribute 20-thousand dollars of RAGBRAI-donated dollars to area nonprofits and businesses’ local nonprofit of choice. Amounts will be determined based on volunteer hours that are contributed. Nonprofit organizations have an opportunity to earn up to a thousand dollars.
