A Storm Lake man has received further charges in connection to a string of local burglaries.
Storm Lake Police applied for arrest warrants for 21-year-old Vincen Charley on Wednesday. Police allege that between October and December of last year, Charley committed several burglaries to vehicles, garages, and storage units. Electronics, tools, and other items were allegedly taken. Police conducted four search warrants at Storm Lake residences last month, and several of the reported stolen items were recovered.
Charley was arrested without incident at the Buena Vista County Courthouse and charged with one count of Ongoing Criminal Conduct, a class B felony…and eight counts of 3rd Degree Burglary, a class D felony. He was booked into the BV County Jail on a 25 thousand dollar bond.
Charley was previously arrested in connection to the incidents on December 11th. 23-year-old Keioney Phillip of Storm Lake was also arrested last month in connection to the case.
