The public is invited to one of the first Storm Lake sesquicentennial events.
An open house gathering will be held at King’s Pointe Resort this coming Tuesday, May 9th from 5:30 to 7pm. There is no cost for admission, and free food will be provided. There will also be free balloon art by Professor Von Air.
Mayor Mike Porsch will talk about activities scheduled throughout the year to celebrate the City of Storm Lake’s 150th anniversary. Giveaways are also planned for the open house.
