Kids! Christmas is 20 days away but Santa will be making an early stop in Storm Lake before delivering gifts.
The City of Storm Lake will welcome ol’ St. Nick by having Breakfast With Santa. The magical holiday event will take place on Saturday, December 16th from 9-11 am at King’s Pointe Resort. Be sure to come hungry as the menu will feature pancakes, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, cereal, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and juice.
The holiday cheer doesn’t stop with Santa as Balloon Artist Extraordinaire Professor Von Air will be in attendance to make special creations for all the kids. Those who do stop out will also have an opportunity to fill Christmas stockings with a commemorative Storm Lake 150th ornament. The City of Storm Lake does have the ornaments available for $5 each, with the proceeds going to local non-profits of Upper Des Moines and Santa’s Castle.
Storm Lake has been in the midst of its Sesquicentennial celebration and this event will mark the final one. The city has featured a celebratory event nearly every month in 2023.
