The Storm Lake Fire Department has several public presentations scheduled this week during National Fire Prevention Week.

The Storm Lake Fire Department has several events planned to coincide with Fire Prevention Week, including visiting local Elementary School classes this (Mon) morning. The department will be in the WalMart parking lot today (Mon) from 5 to 9pm to meet the public. Children will be able to tour a fire simulation education unit.
This Wednesday morning, the department will meet with preschool students at the Early Elementary School for a presentation and fire truck visit.
The department will visit with the public on Thursday from 4 to 6pm at the Storm Lake Farmer’s Market.
The department will stop at the Storm Lake Public Library on Saturday from 10am to noon. Everyone is welcome to stop by and learn about firefighting and fire safety.
