Gas prices have gone up in recent weeks.
According to Triple A Iowa, a gallon of unleaded statewide is currently averaging $3.51 per gallon, which is down slightly from a week ago, but is up more than 30 cents from a month ago.
Trilby Lundberg, publisher of the Lundberg Survey, expects things to stabilize a bit moving forward due in large part to the fact that oil prices have stabilized between 70 and 80 dollars a barrel…(audio clip below courtesy of FOX News)
A gallon of gas in Buena Vista County is averaging $3.49. A gallon of gas in Storm Lake right now is as low as $3.35.
Diesel in Iowa is currently averaging $3.93 per gallon, which is down slightly in the last week, but six cents higher than a month ago.
