Over 96 hundred dollars has been raised towards the 40 thousand dollar goal for the Storm Lake Star Spangled Spectacular.
Fundraising co-chair Josh Newhouse says they’re off to a great start, are slightly behind where they were after the first week of last year. Newhouse and the other co-chair Matt Brostad are working to contact past major donors asking for their help again this year. Letters have been sent to all past donors and prospects. Newhouse says if someone did not receive a letter or they have not donated in the past, they are asked to consider making a donation.
