Star Spangled Spectacular Donors Recognized

Hundreds of donors helped cover the costs for this year’s Star Spangled Spectacular in Storm Lake.

Fundraising co-chairs Josh Newhouse and Matt Brostad set a goal of 38-thousand dollars, and they ended up raising over 39-thousand as of July 4th, breaking the previous record set in 2021. 325 benefactors provided cash and in-kind donations for the July 3rd and 4th event. The list of all the donors can be found below.

Fareway’s “Round Up For Fireworks” fundraiser, which gave customers the opportunity to round up to the nearest dollar at the register to go toward the Spectacular’s fireworks show, raised more than $1,540.

Commodores Brandon Frank and Jeff Bowles (pictured above) led the planning for the 2022 Star Spangled Spectacular. This year’s Co-Commodores Jared and Ty Eggers will lead the 2023 event.
