There are special day highlights through the run of the upcoming Clay County Fair, which gets underway on Saturday, September 9th.
Highlights include Veteran’s Appreciation Day on Monday, September 11th. All veterans and active duty military will receive free admission to the fair that day. Activities that day will include a parade at 10am, and a special program at 11am. Mix 101.7FM will be on hand broadcasting live that day.
Tuesday, September 12th will be Senior Day. Admission for fairgoers age 65 and older that day will be eight dollars, and there will be special activities including a parade of antique tractors. September 12th will also be FFA Day.
Other highlights include Wednesday, September 13th will be Disability Awareness Day…Thursday, September 14th Iowa Corn Day…Friday, September 15th Iowa Dairy Day…and September 16th will be Science Saturday.
The 2023 Clay County Fair goes from September 9th through the 17th.
