The Storm Lake Police Department this month is helping to raise funds for fighting breast cancer.
The department is selling limited-edition “Fight For a Cure” Breast Cancer Awareness Stickers to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Stickers can be obtained for three dollars apiece at the Storm Lake Police Department weekdays from 8am to 4pm throughout this month.
Funds raised from the purchases will go directly to the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center Oncology Department for ongoing cancer patient services.
