An informational meeting will be held tomorrow (Wed, July 13th) for Sioux Rapids area residents regarding a fiber internet project.
Evertek is building a network to provide ultra-fast internet to Sioux Rapids residents. The two-phase project will start in city-limits, and then expand to rural areas.
The come-and-go meeting Wednesday will be from 5 to 7pm at the American Legion Hall in Sioux Rapids. Food and beverages will be available. Those who attend and complete a permission to bury form will have a chance to win several door prizes.
Construction on the fiber project is expected to get underway next week.
