The high temperature in Storm Lake during the month of September averaged 78 degrees.
The temperature reached 89 degrees the final two days of the month on Friday and Saturday, and also peaked at 89 on Sunday to start October. There were nine days in September where the temperature got into the 80’s, including three days where it got into the 90’s. The temperature last month got as high as 95 degrees on September 2nd.
Storm Lake received an inch and nine-tenths of rain during September, according to measurements taken outside the radio stations.
