Iowa U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley welcomed OA-BCIG Middle School students to Washington DC this week.
Grassley answered questions on several topics including his strong voting record. Grassley holds a 27-year streak without missing a vote, which is the longest streak in Senate history.
In a statement, Grassley said it was great to meet with OA-BCIG Middle School students during their visit to the nation’s capital. Grassley said the seats of the federal government offer opportunities to learn about history, architecture, and more. He said the students asked thoughtful questions, and their curiosity speaks to their ambition. Grassley said it’s always a pleasure to speak with the next generation of Iowans.
